My best friend and little brother Gene Hall passed away November 21, 2017, saving a child, the child’s mother, and their dog from drowning in a 40+ foot pond. He lost his life on his way back from saving them due to exhaustion, extreme weather condition and water suctions inside the pond that pulled him down. It took a toll on me mentally, spiritually, and physically. Between that day through 2020 my weight fluctuated up and down. I ate anything I wanted to with no care about what it was doing to me. In other words, I spiraled out of control. To the point I didn’t care about my weight or health.
After some time of being down, I decided that I was either going to continue to allow the death of my brother to keep me bound or I was going to have the faith to walk with God to help me out of that place. I did the latter. In 2020 I decided to make a shift my thought life and really began to walk in and by Faith (physically and spiritually). As I made that decision, God birthed (Women Walking by Faith) designed to encourage, uplift, motivate, inspire, and empower woman by speaking life over them and by motivating them through fitness goals.
I’m not where I want to be yet but I’m getting close.
